Narrative Information: The first PCS Detachment A5/233 (redesignated A5/212 on 01/08/65) took over the Plei Mrong camp from A1/333, 1st SFG(A). A-212 was redesignated A-252 in March, 1966. Plei Mrong was converted to VNSF A-115 o/a May, 1967, then to 63rd Border Ranger o/a 10/31/70. Plei Mrong was located in Le trung District, Pleiku Province.
